By using their psychological sales tactics, they may
have even convinced you to buy one, and you were probably in a good mood
when you did it. "It will be amazing!" you think, "my own private vacation
spot!"But a little while later, the reality
of the situation hits you. You're paying yours fees every year, but one year
something comes up and you can't make it there during your allotted time.
You realize that you've just lost an entire years' worth of fees that you'll
never make back up. But you think "it's no big deal, I mean, it's cheap
anyway so we'll just go next year." But then next year your wife gets
pregnant and you can't make it, again. By this point you've probably spent a
few thousand dollars on a place that you haven't even used, so you decide
"well, maybe this isn't such a good idea. I'm going to sell it before I pour
anymore money into it." The only problem is you find that you cannot sell
it, because most people realize what a money drain they are and nobody wants
to buy it.
Maybe if you are lucky, you will be able to give it
away or donate it, but even that is becoming harder as people realize that
even if you get at timeshare for free, you still have to pay annual fees.
Fortunately, there are some companies who can help you get rid of your
timeshare.
